The shoes I received are not true to color shown on the page -- which actually turned out well for me. I prefer the color as it is on the shoe, which is a deep red-brown. The photo of the pair I ordered shows a purple shoe.Out of the box, fit is not quite as nice as the other Ecco shoes I own. The width is a true medium on arrival. The length is as expected, or even a few millimeters longer. I expect within a day or so of wearing for them to stretch to fit properly across the ball of my foot, which is closer to wide. There is also very little padding or shock absorption for walking, and the low rise over the toe/arch area means these shoes don't fit securely on your foot.Although more than adequate for a dress shoe, I can not recommend these for the dressy/walking category Ecco is known to cater to.
